5 Tips for Fast Use of Microsoft Word

Now these days Microsoft word is mostly used for documentation. Everyone wants to more work within few times. If some shortcuts could be used then we can save more time. Here are some tips for Microsoft Word that will help you work done faster and more efficiently than ever before.

    1. Select Text Quickly
      Press the CTRL key and select any word or sentence.
      You can also select square or rectangular area of text in a Word document, press and hold the ALT key and drag your mouse to select any area. You can select text by triple click.

    1. Change the Sentence CASE
      Shift+F3 is shortcut to change the case of the text. Firstly select the text and press Shift+F3 to change the case of the selected text. It works with UPPERCASE, lowercase and sentence case. You can do the same thing from Change Case option in Format Menu.

    1. Write Anywhere on a Page
      You can use your Word page as a whiteboard and write text anywhere on the page by double-click wherever you want to type a text and start writing.

    1. Move Text without Copy-Paste
      Everyone uses the Cut-Paste to move text from one location to another location on a Word page. Select any word or block of text, press F2 and place the cursor at the location where you want to move that word or text after that press Enter.

  1. Convert to Plain Text
    Ctrl+Space Bar is a shortcut for converting a copy snippet from a web page into Word. When we copy a web page into word all the styles and format are retained same. For removing the style from any block of text in Word, Select the block and press Ctrl+Space Bar and text will be transformed into plain text.
